Wow I love this paddle. The spin is absolutely top tier. The grit is insane. I can really shape the ball. I can hammer my serves and trust that the top spin will keep them in. Drives are huge. Unlike other power paddles, it’s really easy to dink with this paddle. It feels plush at the kitchen but it’s a monster at the baseline. I really love the combination. This is my new main paddle.
Great paddle. First thoughts are the cover and paddle design is clean crisp and has a lot of grit to touch. The paddle in my opinion performs closer to the power of raw carbon fiber with better spin compared to the other models. Balance required some strips of lead tape at the bend of paddle to have a more balanced feel. Ground strokes feel solid and was able to get ball deeper into the court. Paddle was plush enough for an average soft game and hand battles were easy. Price was fair compared to other paddles brands. I got a discount using “ALPHA10”.
I highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their game.
I had come across the Mark brand last year while looking for a new paddle. I started my Mark journey with the Mark Two Kevlar/Carbon paddle. The Mark Two was an amazing paddle offering both power and control.
Now a year later, I had the opportunity for the pre-release of Unmarked Alpha.
This Unmarked Alpha is amazing! Just like its predecessor, it offers great power, while also offering outstanding control. It plays great on the short game and speed ups are more controlled.
Not to mention the surface grips well, especially if you like to play with spin and slice.
Great job Wesley and the Mark team!
My son and I have been using this paddle for about 20 hours now and I can say the spin is top tier. It's got a ton of power but a ton of control as well. We didnt really need an adjustment period for it since it is not like the standard power paddle. It has enough juice for putaways but great control to still drop the ball. The grit really shocked me how good it holds onto the ball. It is a little heavier than the other Mark paddles so keep that in mind but so far I haven't felt it at the kitchen. This is the paddle you need in your bag do not hesitate!
