I found Mark paddle very responsive, easy to control. It sits in the hand nicely, the handle feels very natural. I even preferred it over Engage and considering the price difference it speaks a volume. I like the surface of the paddle and the subtle design also. The pop is quite satisfying too. For the power it certainly would benefit from a lead tape.
I've been playing with my Mark One for a month now. Love it. When I loan it out others love it too. The perfect all court paddle. Oh, and I got the paddle during a "blemished paddle sale". My paddle was blemished somewhat but no one notices it, especially after some use (and the paddle gets dirty).
Highly recommended.
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Thrive Azul and this seems to fit the bill. The one I got felt heavier than the light weight sorted Azul I had been playing but has plenty of pop and power and pretty good control too. Sweet spot out of the box was small but lead tape fixed that at the cost of some maneuverability. Overall very happy with this paddle and is my current go-to option when I want to play aggressive.
Been using a Joola Gen 2 Scorpius for a while, but the MarkOne plays very similar but with even more power. Highly recommend!
More people should try these Mark paddles. Very playable power and feel. Love the way the paddle grips the ball. The Mark One is my favorite go-to paddle so I just ordered a second one, a blemish model, which btw looks perfect! Thanks a million!
