Weight Guide
Small changes can make your paddle feel more stable, more powerful, or faster in hand.
Start at 4 + 8 o’clock or lower on the sides. This gives most players added stability and forgiveness without making the paddle feel too head-heavy.
Adds balanced stability and sweet spot help without making the paddle feel too head-heavy. Great first setup for most players.
Best for blocks, resets, and off-center hits. Helps reduce twisting and makes the sweet spot feel larger side-to-side.
Adds more plow-through for drives, counters, and put-away shots. This can make the paddle feel slower in hand.
Adds a more solid feel while keeping the balance lower. Best when you want stability without sacrificing fast hands.
Add a little weight first, play a session, then add more only if the paddle still feels unstable.
Use the same amount on the left and right side so the paddle keeps an even balance.
If using lead tape, cover it with edge tape or electrical tape after applying it.
Use tungsten tape if you want a cleaner non-lead option for experimenting with weight.
